By accessing and using this website, then placing an order based on the information obtained from the website you automatically agree to abide by the terms and conditions.

1. Pricing
At the time of printing the shelters are fully inclusive of VAT. In the event of any increase in the cost to the company of overheads, labour, goods, materials or transport, the company reserves the right to increase its prices accordingly, however, once your deposit or payment in full is received the price will stay fixed for three months.

2. Payment
A minimum of 50% of the quoted total price is required upon placing the order if you are paying by cheque, with the balance to be paid strictly a minimum of working 7 days prior to delivery. When paying online with credit or debit card payment must be made in full with order. PLEASE NOTE: A £20 surcharge will be payable when paying with a credit card. There is no surcharge when paying with debit card or cheque.

3. Ordering
Within three days of receiving an order and deposit or payment the company will confirm by email or by post that they are processing your order and estimate a delivery date (this is subject to workload but usually between two and six weeks from receipt of order). An order will not be processed unless full payment is received if paying online or if paying by cheque a 50% deposit (as a minimum) of the total value is received. Although the company will endeavour to meet order timescales should extenuating circumstances prevent this, the company will not be held responsibility and the agreement cannot be considered repudiated.

4. Rufund/cancellation policy
Once your order is received you will receive a delivery date and bespoke manufacture will commence. Should you wish to cancel your order for whatever reason our *cancellation policy is as follows:

Cancelled within 4 weeks of the delivery date 90% of the total order value will be refunded.

Cancelled within 3 weeks of the delivery date 50% of the total order value will be refunded.

Cancelled within 2 weeks of the delivery date 25% of the total order value will be refunded.

*Cancellation must be received in writing via email or post and you should request immediate confirmation of receipt from the Horse Shelter Co. Cancellation is not recognised until we have confirmed receipt of your correspondence.

5. Description of goods
The horse shelters' materials and specifications are described in good faith and every effort is made to adhere to the exact specifications. However, on occasion due to supply issues it may be necessary to substitute materials but they will be of a similar or improved standard. Timber is a natural product, which can suffer from shrinkage, warping, cracking and, or movement after erection and the company cannot be held responsible for such occurrences.

6. Delivery and installation
Access to the site must be safe and unrestricted - manual handling dictates the panel can only be carried for 1-2 metres hense access to site of erection must be suitable for vehicules. The company will not be held responsible for any damage howsoever caused to the customers' land or property whilst gaining access, or in the execution of the erection of the customers' shelter or stable. Any time or date quoted by the company for delivery is given and intended as an estimate only and the company shall not be liable in any manner whatsoever for any loss or damage or failure to deliver within such times. No delay or failure in respect of delivery or part delivery shall entitle the customer to treat the contract as repudiated.
The company will not deliver any buildings or machinery through or over any domestic buildings or over fences. The site for erection should be as flat as possible and ready prepared to accommodate the building (uneven or sloping ground may reduce the life of the shelter). The responsibility to prepare or make good a site ready for erection lies with the customer. If the site is not suitable the shelter will be off loaded and another return for erection will incur additional costs. Should the  customer choose DIY installation the company will supply instructions but will not be held responsible for incorrect erection or damage to the shelter through mishandling.

7. Complaints
The customer is strongly advised to inspect the shelter immediately after erection and point out any concerns before the fitters leave the site. Any subsequent complaints must be notified in writing within seven days and prior to any livestock being admitted. The company will not be held responsible for damage caused by livestock, extreme weather conditions, fire, theft, or Acts of God.

8. Insurance
Customers are advised to insure all materials/buildings delivered to site against fire, theft, extreme weather conditions, Acts of God, or other loss or damage.

9. Law Governing the Contract
The contract shall in all respects be construed and operated as an English contract governed by English law and any dispute arising out of, or in connection therewith, shall be referred to the English courts.
