Why provide a horse shelter?The way in which our horses are kept has dramatically changed over the past 100 years. Often with restricted grazing, many of us are unable to turn out onto several acres of rich pasture with established mature trees and lovely high, dense hedges, which afford natural protection from the elements. Hence, we are left worrying about our horses and how they will cope with exposure to inclement weather in the winter. With a horse shelter you can easily winter out and rest easy, safe in the knowledge that your horse has access to a dry and warm shelter and protection from rain and wind whenever he chooses, 24 hours a day. But it’s not only the winter when horse shelters become invaluable, during the hot sunny weather horses seek shade and relief from flies which they can find at their liberty from a horse shelter. Our shelters are well made to endure everything that the British weather has to throw at us, we even provide storm/summer vents which you can open in *stormy weather to avoid gusts of wind getting trapped inside the shelter. They are also great in very hot weather allowing you to ventilate and get a nice cooling breeze through the shelter.
