Static Field Shelters

Static field shelters are built to the same exacting standards as all of our  timber buildings product range. As with static stables you will require an area of concrete so that the shelter can be bolted down. As an extra preventative measure you could also install a brick plinth onto the concrete and then the shelter would be bolted to the plinth. The plinth will ensure that urine etc does not damage the timber base plate (however, the timber is pressure treated and so very durable).

The Horse Shelter Company can also organise groundwork for local customers (50 mile radius). However, each installation will require a separate quote so please contact us.

Fixed Stables

Stables are available as a mobile building but sometimes only fixed stables and a concrete base will do. We offer a range of fixed stables which are usually bolted down to a brick plinth which is in turn laid on a concrete base.

Once you have your base and brick plinth in place we arrive with your timber buildings and can usually erect within one day. We can supply an outline plan for your builders to lay your plinth. The plinth is put in place to avoid faeces and urine directly coming into direct contact with the timber base plate.

We can provide any combination of stables, tackrooms etc but remember if you require a 'L' or 'U' shape it will cost more. The most cost effective way to provide stabling is in a straight line, but we'll quote for whatever you require.
